Can make a flat diaper 27" square. If you
buy 3 yards you will get four 27" square diapers exactly. You could
make two prefolds by cutting 2 pieces 27" x 18". Folded in half will
yield a 2 layer diaper 13.5" x 18". An inner terry layer would be
desirable.

You could get four 2-layer newborn sized
diapers 9"x13.5" but this is kind of small.

Can yield 2 flat diapers 18"x45". Can
make four 2-layer prefold 11"x18". Add inner terry layer if desired.
Can also make 2 thicker prefolds 13"x18

' with extra center panel if folded this
way: fold in thirds, first left side in 13", then right side in only
10" instead of the whole 13". Then fold the extra material back over to
the right another 5", then to the left the remaining 5". Pin to secure
center panel.

Stitch either side of panel, bind top and
bottom.

Can make four 2-layer newborn diapers
with center padding approximately 11"x14".

Cut 4 pieces 22.5"x18".

Fold in half.

Cut off extra 4 inches and center inside
the folded diaper.

Pin to secure.

Straight stitch either side of panel to
secure.

Finishing flat diapers:

Cut material to size.

Fold 1/4", then 1/4" again on each side
of diaper.

Sew straight stitch seam around the
entire perimeter to finish.
